A great insight can change someone's thinking in seconds. One carefully constructed question can sometimes do more than an hour of advice.

Help someone see what they cannot currently see for themselves.

 Listen for the gap between what someone says, what they do, what they believe and what their results are telling them.

The Executive Challenge 

The temptation in coaching is to provide answers. But if the coach constantly supplies the answer, whose thinking is actually developing? Insight coaching is about listening deeply enough to recognise the gap.
